A riveting conclusion to the Arranged Marriage series!
Charlotte has been taken, and Perry is set on doing everything and anything to get her back. After all, he has had some soul-searching completed and finally realized that he has been suppressing emotions for his lovely bride.
The road to their reunion is not easy. Perry had to solicit assistance from Charlotte's brothers, and both underwent deep emotional character development during this journey. It was great to see this arc given how they started from the very beginning. I especially love Charlotte's development from this meek puppet to a strong, self-confident heroine.
There has been no denying that the chemistry between these two has been on 🔥since page one, and it has certainly grown and matured over the course of three books. The spiciness, however, has not waned a single bit.
As a newbie to the Midnight Dynasty universe, I was not familiar with possible cameos of other characters, but Monica Murphy did a great job of providing enough context to make this series stand by itself. Of course, this is Book Three in an interconnected series, so if you have not read the Reluctant Bride and the Ruthless Groom, you will need to do so to understand the events in this book.
