Finding You brought out the giggles. Keeping You had me swooning. Lena Hendrix, what are you doing to me?

Book Two of the Chikalu Falls series brings us Colin and Honey's story. After rightfully burning bridges with her soul-sucking job in Butte, Honey decided to seek refuge in Chikalu with her sister Jo (of Finding You fame). She's not completely thrilled because she knows she is going to run into Colin at some point, and they will need to figure out how to co-exist in a small town after having a brief fling during her last visit.

Colin has never had the urge to connect himself to someone until Honey came into his life. Now that she's staying in town for a while and is trying to open a bakery next door to his bar, this might be the opportunity he has to get her to be a permanent resident of Chikalu and in his heart.

I adore these two. Honey is fun, smart, sassy, and confident with a kind heart. She endears herself to other residents in Chikalu not just through her bakes but also for being a great listener and friend. I want to hug poor, tortured Colin so badly and tell him it is okay. Their chemistry is just so hot, and if I thought the intimate scenes from Finding You were intense and spicy, Lena Hendrix turned up the heat in this one. 

As I read through this series, not only am I finding myself falling in love with the main characters but with this fictional town as well. Lincoln and Jo, Cole, Maggie, Bailey, and the rest of the town hold a certain charm that endears readers to the community as a whole. I absolutely cannot wait to read Protecting You and Lena Hendrix's other books.
