Listen, it has been a hot minute since I've enjoyed a basketball romance. I'm trying to remember if I have even fallen in love with a fictional basketball player this hard since Nathan Freaking Scott. #Naley4Life
Nova has always been the messy sister. Now she's on a plane trying to overcome her fear of flying to help plan her more organized, more together sister's wedding. I. Was. Hooked. The chemistry between these two was hot from the get-go. Clay is a broody, all-business guy, and somehow Nova and her rays of sunshine have seeped into the darkness he has firmly planted himself. I love that they bring out the best in each other despite their resistance against the feelings that linger underneath their friendship.
I may have screeched like a banshee -- yes, like a banshee -- when this ended in somewhat of a cliffy. Only my idiot self would neglect to read that this is the first of a trilogy. You can also call me a sucker, because I am already counting down the days to the next one.
