What a fantastic farewell to Rory and Zoe -- and a great intro to the Foxbrooke series!
The countdown has begun for Rory and Zoe's walk down the aisle, and in true Kinloch fashion, everything is in chaos. The low-key wedding has now become a big event -- thanks to the insistence of Rory's mother. While our favorite couple tries to keep their wits about them, bickering mothers, loud friends, and whimsical dads (and stepdads) are not helping their mental health cause. Did I mention that their friends are planning their stag and hen parties? Because those always end up well..<end sarcasm>
What a lovely send-off to Kinloch! It would not be a proper goodbye without the typical mischief and mayhem that comes with our beloved ensemble cast. I mean, a solo novella with Brad alone could cause enough havoc. Yet somehow it always ends up like it is supposed to, and this time for me, it ended with some sniffles and bittersweet farewells.
This short read gives me enough steam between our lovely couple to remind me how much I have fallen in love with them over the course of the series. Yes, this novella can be read as a standalone, but if you love to laugh with your entire being while reading romance, I highly recommend starting from the very beginning.
It is bittersweet to say goodbye to such beloved characters, but Evie gives us a fun consolation by teasing her new series. I cannot wait!
