BOOKWORM REVIEW: The Cabin at Candy Cane Lane by Laramie Briscoe

This was a fun insta-love (well, somewhat) short read.

Holly came home to Blizzard Bluff to get away from a horrible series of life events. Who can blame her when she's jilted at the altar and lost her job to boot? Seeking refuge at her family's cabin, she did not expect to run into Lucas, her ex-boyfriend from high school and the man she's left firmly in the past.

If you're looking for a quick-paced steamy holiday read about second chances, this is a great pick. There is an element of insta-reconnection, but Laramie Briscoe does a great job of establishing a foundation between Holly and Lucas that makes it work.
