I always welcome any visit to Pippa Grant's Copper Valley universe, and this time is no different.
To say Cooper Rock is cocky would be an understatement. How could he not when baseball fans, woman, Copper Valley residents, and everyone in-between feeds that hungry, hungry ego of his? What is not hungry is his need for commitment; it looks like he keeps that as starved as possible.
Then pop superstar Waverly Street comes into his life and turns it upside down.
This read absolutely fulfills the expectation of romance, comedy, and complete chaos -- in a good way. Only Pippa Grant could stir up such wonderful messy madness only to underline it with a great backstory of the main characters that have readers falling for them.
The ensemble cast provides a nice support to our adorable and relatable couple. The pranks, jokes, and fantastic camaraderie are a fun interlude to our couple's arc.
This book can be read as a standalone, but if you love sports romance with a good helping of comedy, reading the entire Copper Valley collection is a must.
