BOOKWORM REVIEW: Broken Bridge by Nana Malone

The trilogy is finally over, and what a ride it was.
Emma and Darcy have been taken, and Bridge and the entire crew are trying to get them back. They still have the issue of finding Francis Middleton, their last target in avenging the death of Emma's brother, and taking down the old guard in the Elite that is setting the London Lords up to fail.
Easy peasy, am I right?
Nana Malone has taken us on this wonderful roller coaster ride from start to finish. It is an incredibly tangled web of lies, secrecy, and crimes, but Malone guides us effortlessly with mystery, suspense, drama, and romance.
I cannot believe it has taken THREE books for Emma and Bridge to get their relationship on track, but I am glad for it. Their character growth as individuals and as a couple is showcased so well across books, and in Broken Bridge, we get the ultimate pay-off we've been waiting for in the first two books. It is not about winning over the other anymore but working together, and I love how it plays out along with what they're trying to do about the Elite.
And because it is Nana Malone, there is no shortage of spice in this read. I love how these steamy moments between Emma and Bridge are well integrated with their witty banter.
Having the London Lords, their ladies, and other friends together is always a good time. I love the ribbing and camaraderie that make them family as they plot their ultimate takedown. It was bittersweet to close this chapter of their adventures, but I am so glad I was along for the ride.
