BOOKWORM REVIEW: Make Me a Match by Ella Goode
Meddling family members are always a good time. Well, at least for this reader.
Make Me a Match by Ella Goode introduces us to Gant and Paslee.
Gant is from a wealthy family but chooses to enrich the lives of local high schoolers by teaching history. His mom, a widow, is a sought-after wedding dress designer, and his sister Caro is a busybody who likes to get into Gant's business as much as possible. With good intentions, of course.
After her mom passed, Paislee thought she was all alone in the world. Until her paternal grandmother barged into her life with a bang. Almost overnight, she went from rag to riches AF, but being in high society and getting dirty looks (and comments) from her delinquent dad and stepbrothers have Paislee feeling lost.
A charity bachelor auction brings these two lovebirds together. After Paislee runs away after the event to escape the overwhelming feelings she has for Gant, their meddlesome family have other plans.
This was a fun, short read. The family shenanigans to bring these two adorable virgins together was hilarious and entertaining.
