BOOKWORM REVIEW: Desperate Measures by Katee Robert

 

I had to admit that I hesitated on this book, because I couldn't shake the mental image of Jafar from the original animated feature..and he was not hot.⁠

But Katee Robert paints a completely different picture of Jafar that had me envisioning less of the creepy old cartoon dude and more of David Gandy with the affinity for BDSM.⁠

Desperate Measure was just so hot. If you're into dark romances, I would definitely recommend this one. It is a slow burn for the feelings section, but if you don't like to wait for the dirty parts to come early (pun intended) in the book, you've come to the right spot.⁠
