BOOKWORM REVIEW: The Boss(Hole) by Penelope Bloom

 

There is something about an alphahole that just makes your 💓 aflutter and your 🌮 a-quiver? Especially in an enemies-to-lover with a heroine that has a spine and is sassy, this was definitely an enjoyable read. ⁠

Adrian and Jules' chemistry was hot from the get-go, and I definitely appreciate the build-up, including the awkward situations these two find themselves in constantly. There was definitely a laugh-out-loud/cringing-a-bit-in-second-hand-shame moment in the airplane bathroom that I won't forget anytime soon.⁠

Don't expect this to be a cliché, either. I won't spoil it, but Penelope Bloom does such an amazing job with writing character development and building depth to the story. The only thing that made me really sad was how quickly it ended.⁠
