BOOKWORM REVIEW: Natural Disaster by Skye Warren and Amelia Wilde

Gah! I think this series has taken a handful of years from my life with its cliffhangers. Yup, this one ends in a gut-wrenching cliffhanger that is guaranteed to make you go "noooooooo!"

So we're back on the island as Theo brings June to the incoming helicopter. Thinking that the people aboard will bring June to safety, he quickly realizes that they are more foe than friend. Now with June gone, he must face Carter who had left earlier to get satellite service and contact his family for a rescue.

Will Carter forgive Theo for his betrayal once he realizes that the mysterious island man is the reason June is gone? Can the three of them sort out their emotions and their attraction to each other?

Pure. Adrenaline. Rush. That is what you get with this read, punctuated with spicy, spicy romance. Skye Warren and Amelia Wilde strike the right balance of action and sexy with the second book in this interconnected series. The suspense just builds as we get introduced to new (and very intimidating) characters. 

The chemistry and dynamics among these three are just so well done. You definitely get that they all care for the two others with deep sincerity (even if some resist it more than others). Warren and Wilde do a phenomenal job of making sure that no one becomes an afterthought in this trio.

You will need to read the previous books to fully understand the story, but this series is totally worth the binge-read. The countdown to the third book has officially begun, and I am so ready for it.
