BOOKWORM REVIEW: Until Willow by Aurora Rose Reynolds
SPICE: π₯π₯.5
Willow Mayson may have a permanent residence in the Friend Zone. Any man she has dated ends up as a good friend. That is until a stranger kisses her when he steps in to save her.
It turns out that Clay Raven may be the key to getting out of the Friend Zone. He challenges her with his perseverance and tenacity, something he has never done before for any woman outside of the friend zone. Can his persistence break down the walls that Willow has fortified around her heart?
I love the romantic suspense in this read. The mystery that fuels Willow and Clay's meet-cute draws you in and compels you to keep turning the pages.
I really enjoyed the tug-of-war between Willow and Clay as he tries to win her affection. Despite Clay's tenacity, Willow can be incredibly stubborn. I was filled with glee when Clay turns that around on her. Their connection was just hot, hot, hot even as strangers kissing for the first time. If the suspense does not draw you in, the tension-filled dance between these two certainly will.
This is my first read in the Until Him/Her or Him/Her universe, and it reads well as a standalone.
