BOOKWORM REVIEW: Mine to Love by Natasha Madison

RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
SPICE: πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

It is usually the sassiest sister that falls last and the hardest, and it makes for a fantastic read.

Presley is the lone wolf in her family. Despite working as a wedding planner, she is absolutely against love and commitment. She is also secretly hooking up with her brother's best friend Bennett. When she finds out that she is pregnant with Bennett's baby, she must face some tough questions about what she wants from Bennett, parenthood, and her life.

Look, I know baby tropes are not for everyone, and while I get wary about them, too, this book did a phenomenal job of exploring that premise.

First of all, I love, love, love Bennett and Presley. Bennett is a top-tier book boyfriend. He struggles with being enamored with someone who does not believe in love and tries really hard to respect her boundaries while showing her that their connection is worth exploring. Presley is sassy and stubbornly independent. Sometimes I wanted to shake her, but in the end, we get a full picture of what is driving her lone-wolf mentality.

Their chemistry is incredibly hot. Natasha Madison provides us with many spicy moments between these two that could light up a Kindle.

The book is the fourth in the series, but it can be read as a standalone. I have always enjoyed the quirky dynamics between Presley and her sisters, and we get that in spades with this book. It balances nicely with the delicious angst between our main characters, leaving us with a nice pace and fantastic storytelling.

** I am voluntarily reviewing an advance copy of this book. Thank you to Natasha Madison and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for providing an ARC. **

ABOUT THE BOOK

From Wall Street Journal and USA TODAY bestselling author Natasha Madison comes a small town, surprise pregnancy romance.

Nothing says forever like two pink lines!

Presley
After my sisters’ disastrous weddings, I’m never going to get married.
I’ll just stay single forever.
It doesn’t matter that I’m in love with my brother’s best friend.
Or that Bennett and I shouldn’t even be friends with benefits.
Until the positive sign tells me I’m pregnant.

Bennett
I fell in love with Presley when she was eighteen and asked me for a favor.
She didn’t want to go to college a virgin.
I said no, but she kissed me, and I was lost in her.
Years later, I’ll take her with any rules she gives me.
She thinks this is just a fling. She’s wrong.
Because she’s always been mine to love.
