BOOKWORM REVIEW: Titan by Jillian Graves
RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

There is absolutely no denying that this book was hot. The Daddy and praise kinks were on point, and the chemistry between Titan and Jules was on fire.
But there was something amiss with the pacing.
Julianna Novak has a lot of problems. She is broke because her mother and talent manager stole the money she earned from her gigs as a child actress. She has been trying to get her money back, but she is running out of assets to pay her bills and her lawyers. When she gets an invite to be a sugar baby to a mysterious Titan, she finds herself entangled with more than she anticipated.
Titan is one of the few gargoyles left on Earth. They and other paranormal creatures are looking for an artifact, and Jules is the key to getting it. When he hires her to get the information she has, he finds that the draw is more than just about the artifact. There is something between them that they cannot seem to shake.
As someone who adored the tv show The Gargoyles, this was definitely a must-read for me. The spice that this book promised meets my expectations and more. The plot does a good job of infusing romance, mystery, and action together. I also really liked all of the characters, paranormal and human.
My only problem is the pacing. Sometimes I feel like I am getting too much information instead of moving the story along. Perhaps this read has this problem because it is the first book in the series and there is a lot to unpack.
The spicy scenes will get you through it, though, and it is well worth the read for that alone.
