Amanda "Mandi" Greene and Noah Walker have been attracted to each other for a long time. Ever since he stepped into her inn during a late checkout, they have been living in each other's fantasies. Too bad, Noah Walker is a rolling stone: he likes to travel for his job as a freelance nature photographer, and Mandi loves managing her inn and being close to her big, albeit rambunctious family.

So when Noah had to make up an engagement to reunite his feuding father and grandmother, Mandi immediately comes to mind as his fake fiancé. Mandi goes along with the farce, but can these two keep their emotions at bay?

I really enjoyed this read, because these two characters are so relatable. I especially love Mandi, because I understand how it is to be the family peacemaker, the responsible child, and the one who always seems to be on the back burner because everyone else seems to have a level 10 personal problem.

Piper Rayne did a great job of establishing their chemistry during their first meet, slowly building it up with great tension and cute banter.

I've only read one other Greene Family book, but the ensemble cast always brings the laughter and fun chaos. I especially love the residents at Northern Life senior living; they give me hope that one can still party in their 60s and 70s.
