BOOKWORM REVIEW: Sneaking Around with #34 by Piper Rayne

What is it about the Fury hotties that makes my heart go a-flutter? Mixed it up with Piper Rayne's signature humor, and we get a wonderful and satisfying read.

Warner never really felt comfortable in Imogen and Ford's world. The kid from the wrong side of track pretending to fit into their posh world, he misleads them into thinking he is one of New York's elite. This leads to a friendship with Ford and eventually a secret relationship with Imogen that eventually falls apart. A few years later, the trio is reunited as Ford and Imogen work for the Florida Fury, and Warner becomes their new player.

Warner and Imogen's connection is effortless. Despite the awkward reunion, the sizzling tension between them is absolutely delicious. I enjoyed finally getting to the root of Warner and Ford's conflict, and it was great to see that they get their own HEA, too.

If you love spicy hockey romance with a tinge of angst and a good helping of humor and fun, this book -- and this series -- is a must-read.
