BOOKWORM REVIEW: Twisted Heart by Stacey Lynn

I usually hate cliffhangers, but for this one, I will make a HUGE exception.  (Also, you have been warned about said cliffhanger.)

Twisted Hearts is the first of two books in the Love and Honor Duet by Stacey Lynn, and it kicked the duet off with a bang.

The story opens with Adrianna being forced to marry someone she detested.  We quickly learn how resourceful and determined she can be as she runs away on her wedding day.

As she hides from her family and fiancee, she crosses paths with Shawn, a former cop who now works for a sophisticated security firm.  They become more intertwined when Shawn is tasked to keep her safe as his firm investigates her dad and her fiancee's family.

Twisted Heart set a great pace in its story development. Even though there was tons of background to incorporate so the story would make sense, Stacey Lynn did an incredible job in integrating these details throughout the book without dragging.

This book is definitely a page-turner.  If you weren't dying to find out what is going on with Addi's family and her forced marriage, you were captivated by the hot, tension-filled scenes between Shawn and Addi.

This was such a fantastic read, and I cannot wait until part 2 comes out on September 14.

** I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.**

Twisted Hearts is now available for purchase.
