BOOKWORM REVIEW: One More Sip by Gia Kim

Losing a husband so early in the marriage is one of my biggest fears. Losing a husband only to find out that I did not know him as well as I should have is another.

I really wanted to like this book.  It promises to explore how someone loses their spouse and discovers their secrets from the grave.  I wanted to see how she overcomes the grieving process and learn to love again.

And I just couldn't find any empathy with her story. The beginning dragged too long for me, and I couldn't even find Jax appealing. I also thought there was not enough development before they started hooking up.

I gave this book a 3.5 (rounded to 4), because I loved Kailey's girlfriends. They're incredibly supportive; they are amazing ride-and-die friends.

** I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. **
