BOOKWORM REVIEW: Meeting Mr. Anderson by Elle Nicoll

This book was one wild roller coaster ride.

We start by meeting Holly Havers, a shy but kind flight attendant, trying to catch her next shift to LA. She's nursing a broken heart, and work is a welcome distraction.

While helping an older lady flying solo, she catches the attention of Jay Anderson, super-hot Hollywood star. Holly, whose ego is still hurting from her toxic ex, thinks little of Jay's attention, though she agrees with the rest of us that he is one hot tamale.

Jay works on wooing her while she's in LA..and this romance is off to the races.

Did I mention that this book was one wild roller coaster ride?

I love that Jay is grounded. He knows he's famous, but it doesn't get to his head and keeps people around him that also keeps him in check. His past has stopped him from pursuing serious relationships, but he knows what he wants from Holly and works hard to gain her trust and affection.

On the other hand, Holly might make some mistakes navigating this relationship, but as the story unravels, we start to understand why.

The book was well-done. The start was a little slow as there were a lot of components to establish that would make a lot of sense later on.  When the story does start to gain momentum, it became harder to put down.
